Packet Base Colour(s)

The two cards in the bottom-right indicate the base colour(s) of the packet.

• Mono - Two basics - the extra two basics allocated to a mono packet.
• Dual - One unknown, and one dual land.
• Tri - One unknown, and one tri land.
• WUBRG - One filter land and one fetch land.

Land Allocation

The lands displayed show some unknown cards (represented by card backs). These will be determined by the colour combination of the combined packets, and will comprise of basics and/or a common dual (from MOM). In some cases, expected basics (shown in the top-right group of six cards) may be replaced by other basics to even out the distribution of basics.

• Mono - These packets include up to three unknown cards, and up to three expected basics that may be replaced.
• Dual - Only one unknown card, and up to six expected basics that may be replaced.
• Tri - Up to four unknown cards.
• WUBRG - Zero unknown cards, but canabalises expected basics from the other packet.

For every non-Dual packet, add one dual land (from MOM). If there is a mono packet, two (or three) extra basics for that colour. If there is a WUBRG packet, at least one basic of each colour. Remaining basics are evenly distributed by colours represented by mono,dual,tri packets.

I could not find an official article for Final Fantasy or Aetherdrift or Tarkir: Dragonstorm, but used the data from MTGAbuddy

Older Packets

I expected LTR, MOM, ONE, BRO, and DMU to have rotated out, and have now dropped them from this disply. There hasn't been any official confirmation from WoTC.
